Not much going on here either. Very Happy
I shifted to a new desk in my office after spending the last 3 years at the same desk. Feels a bit weird and has a lot less privacy than before. Very Happy

I was at work otherwise I may have bumped into him...

It's not just shoppers flocking to Cardiff.

Hollywood movie star Nicolas Cage was yesterday spotted quietly sipping coffee in a cafe on the waterfront of weather-battered Cardiff Bay.

Cage refused to disclose why he was in the Welsh capital, but dismissed speculation that he is to appear in Dr Who.

Smiling Cage, who has reportedly blown millions of pounds on fancy cars and homes, said: “I’m here for a private business meeting. I like Dr Who, but it’s not what I’m here for.”

The Oscar-winning star of FaceOff, Gone in 60 Seconds and Ghost Rider was treated to a cup of coffee in Coffemania.

Waiter Dariusz Zagula, 25, said: “I recognised him instantly. He is one of my favourite actors.

“I asked him for his autograph, but I was scared to ask for a photo – he looked really miserable.

“But let’s face it, November storms in Wales are not quite the same as Californian sunshine.”

New Zealand has joined the space race with a rocket.

Appropriately it was launched by three semi-crazy guys from a sheep paddock. I will post a video soon.

The last time an iceberg came to our waters, they took New Zealands most famous sheep (named Shrek who had escaped and not been shorn for years), and the sheared the wool off out on the iceberg. Its a New Zealand kind of thing to do. I wonder what they will do this time.

You can take charter flights out to see it (or will be able to when they find it).

That is a never ending mission Very Happy

Vodafone was a con! When I got there they explained that this was my 90 day renewal offer but if I wanted a Bold I would have to contribute £150. However if I wait until my 50 day renewal offer I can have it for free!

Well I thought long and hard about there offer and walked out of the store. Still I have a nice Christmas present to look forward to, except that 20 days from yesterday is Christmas Day and the store is closed Sad

Not really local, but don't know where to put this.

Sir Richard Branson rolls out SpaceShip Two. Tickets are $200,000 for a trip into space. Shocked

I love Bert Rutan's aircraft designs.

I once got to fly his Quickie;

You can tell a Rutan aircraft just by looking at it.
