In this day and age, you can's say any place on earth will not be hit by Tysnami at all. However, located in Persian Gulf, I would imagine that to be one of the safest place from Tsunami you can find.

Re: [F1] Michael Schumacher Fan Club.
Here in Adelaide we are pretty safe from Tsunamis:
1. We are also located in a Gulf and
2. We have Kangaroo Island protecting us at the entrance to the Gulf.
Schumi's done pretty well if that Dubai shack was given to him !!
.... we'll have to tell Zag (the pussy).

So finally FIA agrees their rules were screwed up and will be amending them soon. Vindicates all our efforts to try to convince other people that Schumi did nothing wrong

This is something to ponder...
How can a man be convicted of a crime – with an enforced penalty – if the ruling authorities admit ambiguity in the wording of their own laws?
I am starting to think that FIA are bunch of bad comedians..

That's what I meant earlier - that MS "took a bullet" on behalf of all the drivers in order to clarify this whole sorry mess that the FIA's rule bungling developed!

Well atleast the people who kept saying MS is a cheat for making that move , have no point now. Another good thing is that people who kept saying MS is past it and cannot race anymore are all quiet now

Yep. There definately are some positives.
I've just found out that Schumacher has won at least 1 race in all of his career except for 1991 when he made his debut and raced for 6 times only. Now it becomes even more important for him to get a win this year to keep this winning record intact. For 15 consecutive years as a full-time F1 racer, he has scored at least 1 win. I wonder if this is a record.

Wow, we've made it to 1,000 posts here. Good on you, all Schuey fans!
Anyway, looks like Montezemolo is admitting MS as the best he's worked with.
Montezemolo admits he misses Schumacher ’at times’
Wasn't it him, however, that sort of made MS quit for Kimi?

Montezemolo admits he misses Schumacher ’at times’
Luca di Montezemolo on Thursday revealed he resisted the urge to invite Michael Schumacher to play at a football game.
The seven time world champion is Ferrari’s most successful ever driver, winning five world championships during his 1996-2006 tenure.
But after retiring four years ago, the 41-year-old returned to the grid this year with Mercedes, and the tension between the German and his former camp has been obvious.
"We had beautiful years together and I gave him back his desire to race," said Ferrari president Montezemolo, referring to the offer of a temporary seat last year to replace the injured Massa, which subsequently became a full return with a rival team.
"At times I miss Schumacher, he gave so much to Ferrari, but he also received a lot," the Italian told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
He then referred to the forthcoming Partita Del Cuore charity football match, to be played in Modena early next week and featuring current Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa and Giancarlo Fisichella.
Said Montezemolo: "A few days ago I was tempted to call him (Schumacher) to ask him to play for us. But as the team carries the Ferrari name, I avoided it."
Wasn't it him, however, that sort of made MS quit for Kimi?

Re: [F1] Michael Schumacher Fan Club.
An interesting article.
Same old Schumacher
I think MS's speed is slowly, but steadily, returning, too.
Same old Schumacher
Schumacher might not yet have recaptured his old speed, but his racing instincts remain wholly intact and he dived past Fernando Alonso, the Ferrari driver, at the final turn to claim sixth place.
I think MS's speed is slowly, but steadily, returning, too.

COOL commercial !!
YEAH - when Schumi shot past Alonso for 6th in Monaco, I was doubly happy as I had a good bet on him for a Top 6 finish
..... and they paid up too!!
All bets are paid as per the standings as at the podium presentation!
Go Schumi

Re: [F1] Michael Schumacher Fan Club.
Hey, guys. I've been too busy to make any contribution here this past week. Nice commercial, freddie, that was a really cool stuff. Nice vid, Schuy1. I've always thought Lauda(and most of other old legends) is a fan of Schumi's. He sometimes says things that are negative about Schumacher, but to me, it seems he says those things because he's worried about MS rather than because he is a detractor.

Schumacher has 'fond memories of Turkey
More upgrades for this weekend. I hope it works out well this time, without any anoying problems!
Michael Schumacher is looking forward to returning to Turkey as a Formula One driver following his return to the sport.
The veteran, who is racing for Mercedes-Benz GP, also noted that the team is hoping to make further progress at Istanbul Par.
"The Turkish fans have always been very kind to me therefore it will be a pleasure to be racing at Istanbul Park again in front of a crowd which will hopefully support us enthusiastically," said Schumacher.
He noted that the race circuit in Istanbul is a "special one" because of it's hilly nature and the varied layout of it's corners.
"I am definitely looking forward to the weekend, especially as our guys back at the factory have worked immensely hard recently to provide us again with an upgraded car."
Schumacher is ninth in the driver standings on 22 points after six races, one place behind team-mate and fellow countryman Nico Rosberg on 56 points.
During his record-setting career, the German has won a record seven Formula One championships.

Re: [F1] Michael Schumacher Fan Club.
Schumacher hasn't achieved all that much in Turkey. He retired from the race in 2005 and came 3rd in 2006. Hopefully, he can improve on it a bit further this weekend.

Re: [F1] Michael Schumacher Fan Club.
I remember he had a nice fight with Alonso at this track in 2006 after starting 2nd on the grid. He was heavier than Massa who was on pole but lost out during the race. But did you check his time in Q2? He was more than 1 sec faster than anyone else. I remember he did some amazing times in Q2 that year, especially in Hungary where he was added 5 seconds after Q2 and nearly qualified for Q3 by just 0.6 sec
.

Wow! Thanks for the info, Schumacat. Schuey is(I should say 'was') just amazing. Let's see how much improvement he himself has made this time!
