In race twitter
Hey guys are there any good twitter feeds that run during races and quali (eg from experts, or ex F1 people, or current F1 people). Do any twits like that exist?
Now that I watch on 3 screens I want to have one screen divided between live timing and a live twitter feed (with the other screen for forum chat and the other screen for the race coverage.

Re: In race twitter
Among the drivers, you should definitely follow karun chandok , Mark Webber and Heikki Kovalainen, but obviously they don't tweet during the race
.
The Lotus team has among the most active Tweeters and many of them reveal a lot of fascinating info. Mike Gasgoyne for example, tweets about when they are going to bring in their drivers or what was the problem that they were facing etc. Another guy from this team to follow is Elliot Dason Barber who gives a lot of technical info about what the team is doing.
Then, there is Claire Williams , who is the daughter of Frank Williams and works in the PR department of the Williams team. She shares a lot of pics from inside the paddock. Awesome stuff. She is among the best users of Twitter on F1.
Among the journos, you need to follow James Allen, F1 fanatic, Jon Noble, Edd Straw, Sarah Holt and Adam Cooper.
You can find all these in the list that i shared above.

Re: In race twitter
It depends what you are looking for. If you want someone to tell you what we can all see, follow someone like autosport live, but for more "special" stuff follow teams, team members as listed above or in the f1-fanatic list.

Re: In race twitter
Yeah what Mini-me said..........autosport was just mirroring the comments on FIA live timing.
So who does that?
Also can we set them to auto refresh?

If you are using Opera, just right click and select "Reload Every" and select the time you want

Also, you can check Mclaren's home page during the race. They show live feeds from the track during the race. They show a lot of fascinating info, like a live track map showing the position of their drivers, as well as radio communication between the team members and drivers.

No need to brag.

that will do me fine.

During the race, Autosport is rather detailed and provides a lot more than the F1 live timing commentary. It is only one source but one of the better ones IMO. Plus, if you are in a country that inserts advert breaks during the race all the F1 resources on Twitter can provide you with info you might otherwise miss.
Here is an example of the race live commentary from the Canadian GP and each of the comments post to twitter: http://live.autosport.com/commentary.php/id/233

Re: In race twitter
Its getting a bit tricky to use three screens with four sources of data, it can make the streaming pause.....so Im not sure I can run twitter any more
Not like the old days when someone put me on to a secret but awesome stream source........that was awesome.
