Mclaren to get major boost from their KERS for 2011

Button: KERS will boost McLaren

Mclaren are looking very good for 2011 with their KERS. In 2009 they had the better system over Ferrari, so logic dictates that this should continue in 2011.
The question is will this be enough to get them the title?
Hamo could be the man to beat in 2011... unless Button finds those couple of 1/10's to stay with him. Nevertheless my money is on Hamo for 2011 rather then Button.

I thought they were part of the Mercedes engine package and so Mercedes would order them.

This is what I found:

In November 2008 it was announced that Freescale Semiconductor would collaborate with McLaren Electronic Systems to further develop its KERS for McLaren's Formula One car from 2010 onwards.

No mention of Mercedes.

Fiararri opposed the opposition to oppose the opposing position to posess poses, but they turned out to be pussies. Mclaren developed something engine related, sure, that's why some other sources ++cough++ stated that Mercedes and Force India will have the same "advantage" as McLemon.


OK, I cut the crap! Seriously, even the most credible F1 (armchair) expert knows crap about how much certain KERS evolved during the past year. So my guess is just as good as Button's, Brundle's, Alonso's, Italian, British or Spanish gutter press' or yours or anyone's. Seriously.

Renaults KERS was pretty crap in 09...so crap they dropped it.

So? they had a year to develop it. Maybe they didn't, but maybe RedBull did, or not. Who knows? You, I, Button?

The point i was trying to make was that McLaren (or Mercedes) experience might mean crap 2 years on. 2 years in F1 is forever. Who knows who developed what during the time?

Would you have expected Renault to jump to the fore in 2005 after the form they showed in 2004, or especially Brawn in 2009 after what Honda did in 2008? Oh, and... did they have KERS? Wow, McLemon did so much with the ZytekMercedesMcLaren Kers in 2009, phew... they managed at least 1 win in that season with their so sophisticated and superior KERS.

What are you and Button is talking about?

Of course McLaren dominating and winning all races is also on the cards, but this isn't the point.

The point is that at this time Button's guess is just as valid as yours or mine. Of course, with the passing of time Button's update COULD be closer to reality than ours. Not now though.
