Thursday night is the start of the rally. The first Super Special Stage is run at the Färjestad Trotting course in Karlstad. A festive opening ceremony followed by the cars duelling on the stage.

Very stormy at the west coast but it should not interfere with the rally which is kinda inland. Temperature is told to be around -12C this weekend but if that is true it is the warmest Swedish rally I've been to.
