Re: Dead Space
Hi Sennamacher,
I own a Wii but can't afford the game. I saw a friend playing it a couple of minutes and it's a good game. The only problem is that it's not similar to the original at all in playing mechanics. It's an on-rail shooter, which erases the fear factor and makes the game more dependable of fast reactions and so on.
Nevertheless the game is fun and spectacular and the story is as good as the original.

Yeah, that's exactly what people don't like about it. I work at a video game store and all my co-workers either hated it or have no interest in playing it for that reason. Nice to hear that some people like it though.

Re: Dead Space
Finally I got Dead Space!
But my Windows disk partition doesn't work and I couldn't even reinstall it.
Great. Let's hope that I can fix it soon and finally enjoy the game.

Re: Dead Space
Been playing for about three hours and I can say that it's great so far
. It achieves perfectly the loneliness feeling and it is really fun, something that can't be said of so much action titles nowadays.

I really like it for that reason too... a lot of survival horror type games aren't actually that scary anymore, but this game made me dread those quiet moments when you don't know what's going to jump out at you.

Yes. A bit like getting lost in Margaret Thatcher's house.
