I have no bike (I'd freeze on it now anyway) and public transport is not really an alternative as it costs more than to travel by car and takes at least twice as much time...

I actually prefer the traffic jam and the rainy weather. I don't mind being stuck in the car for an hour actually -as long as I am alone and I have my favourite songs with me. Very Happy

I feel quite peaceful in the traffic. Weird. Smile

Traffic jams are why I demand auto transmission!! Then I can just tune out of the road and listen to music.

New Zealanders probably use a car more everyday than any nationality apart from the yanks. And interestingly more cars are auto than are manual!

You still need to be able to drive manuals to be a real man of course.

Ive driven plenty of manuals on a daily basis but they were heavy vans (eg Ford Transit), so I never had much joy. Ive also driven some little small crappy car manuals. Not pleased with them either.

Someone lend me a DB9 for a test run please.

Normal. I tried fly fishing and found it too expensive. It's also difficult to master Embarassed
