Yeah. I find at on Christmas day, in the huts in the national parks most of the people are foreign tourists. they have no family to go to so they are hiking.

I am hiking because nothing is worse than a boring stinking hot Christmas day!! Just give me hiking weather, beautiful scenery, a tank full of gas to get there and some food.

Err but NZ has hot Christmases not cold!!

This year too many visits to the hospital.
I thought of taking a break if my condition holds up but doctor doesn't allow me to fly.
So this Christmas I hope to take a boat ride, a short cruise to nowhere. santa

My Christmas is a home alone..
Reading few Steven King's books, spoiling myself rotten with food.
If it keeps raining like it been for week's, I rather stay away from traffic.
That staying a home alone, is nice and dandy with me.
Peaceful & quiet.. Very Happy

Peaceful & quiet is what we have also, MissFinn. Spending the Christmas vacation away from family, work and all the crazy Alabama drivers. tongue
