Post by MONSTAR on Sat Dec 19, 2009 2:58 am

If you have a PS3 go to the playstation store and download GT Academy for you chance to be a race car driver. I dont know the full condidtions cause im to lazy to read them, but as far as i know the top 20 drivers of each country have a "drive off" until there is 1 left and that lucky 1 gets to go to Silverstone to compete against all the other lucky drivers from around the world in real cars. And the person who the fastest gets to become a real race car driver!!!!

Check out http://www.gran-turismo.com/ for full details

Those with the best combined times will be invited to take part in a Europe-wide competition which will see the best racers taken to Silverstone racetrack in the UK where they’ll get behind the wheel of a Nissan 370Z for real as part of 2010’s GT Academy.

Doesn't that make it Euro's only?

The new physics engine is supposedly REALLY good. But apparently graphics in this demo aren't impressive at all. Whatever, it's still a must-buy when it eventually comes out.

* bump

This is a little random, but I've been buying lots of games lately and reading lots about upcoming games, and it seems Gran Turismo 5 is still some way off.

But I found out a cool new feature. Gran Turismo 5 will feature head tracking support with the Playstation eye. The camera tracks your head movements, so you can free look around the cockpit when you are driving.

The possibilities from this are obvious. I can't wait to see this in action. If it works as it should, I will no doubt be buying the otherwise useless playstation eye (though the magic wand might have a good game or two anyway...)

Also, I think you will be able to use a PSP as a side mirror. Most expensive side mirror ever, but meh, could be fun! Laughing Magic wand actually looks pretty good, kinda like a more advanced but uglier wiimote.

This game will; never come out!!! HAHA

Its soooo long over due. Every time they go to release it, some new technology comes out and they must want to include it in their game. At this rate we will never play it!!

How long ago was GT5 PROLOGUE released?

GT 10 should be have been released buy now!!!!!!!!!

Nice slip. Laughing

We were hoping for June, but if we are lucky we'll have good Christmas presents this year. It is becoming a bit of a Duke Nukem Forever. But PS3 owners are finally seeing these games come out now, next month alone we have god of war 3 and final fantasy, they've taken millenia to be released...

So wait patiently, young padawan. Don't be tempted by the darkside.
