[F1] Murray Walker Fan Club

I still miss Mr. Walker, the true voice of Formula one. I think he deserves a fan club.

I guess there are good reasons that the man stayed in F1 commentating for as long as he did.

I have met Murray Walker a few times... you could not meet a nicer man, charming, funny, witty and
very interesting.. a true gentleman.

I've seen him once in person. He came to Australia and did an autograph signing tour a few years ago. I went to Castle Towers and saw him signing his autobiography for the people there. And you are right, Zag, he was a really nice person. It felt a little strange, but in a nice way, that a famous British F1 commentator paid a visit to the local shopping centre in Sydney, Australia. Castle Hill is about 1 hour distance from the city centre of Sydney and is a nice, quiet family-oriented suburb. Castle Towers, though, is one of the busiest shopping centres in Australia, so maybe that's the reason they could make Mr. Walker visit there.
