+1
I'm pretty sure, that he will decide for WRC. Firstly, he is too young to retire and furthermore, he has so much fun and is relaxed in WRC...he had never been in F1....

A cool video!

Very interesting video! Not so much comments, but still thrilling.
Well, I have to say, that I'm very impressed by Kimi, that he stayed in the garage while his guys worked on the car. He is the driver, he could have been gone already after the car has been back in the garage, but he didn't. He stayed there, instead of going away to the hotel for sleeping, although it was already late in the night. Cool! Thumbs up for Kimi!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

LR.. The man is glowing in these pictures... seem to be reborn... and also the driving is starting to become really awesome. Soon he will be fighting for a podium maybe. Think of how much less experience he has at Rallying, soon not measurable.

Yeah, you are so right, Ferrari. It really seems to me, that Kimi finally found a place, where he really belongs. We all ave noticed in his time in F1, that he isn't happy with all the glitter-glamour show around the racing, but in rally, everything is cool, relaxed and uncomplicated. For sure, crazy fans are there also, they followed him from F1, but that's the price he has to pay... Laughing But in WRC it's not onlythe racing, but also the atmosphere, what he seems to prefer compared to F1.

................

Overall results: Pity, that Kimi couldn't catch up Henning Solberg, so he finished the weekend on P11 without points. Butttt regarding to the fact, that the crash on Friday had pushed him back on P24, it's an awesome achievement to get 13 positions back forward. Well done, Kimi.
For Citroen: First 1-2-3-4 success of Citroen. Loeb, Sordo, Solberg, Ogier.... Awesome!!!
A great team! Smile
If I imagine, that Kimi wouldn't have this crash, it might have been been a 1-2-3-4-5 success! 🆒
Congrats, Citroen! Smile
Really happy for you guys. You have awesome drivers and also a super-duper bunch of mechanics, who are doing always 100% at there work, what they proved on Friday by doing a great work on Kimi's car....

He was faster than Loeb at the final stage at the first 4 split times then he went off again and lost a minute. He could have taken P5 on the final stage. But P11 over all is good taken the crash and some ditches in account.

Bulgaria Rally: Citroen Jr final leg summary

Ogier and Raikkonen show their class

The eagerly awaited first asphalt round of the World Rally Championship allowed the two Citroen Junior Team crews to show their potential. At the end of the Rally Bulgaria, Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia formed part of a historic one-two-three-four formation finish for Citroen, while Kimi Raikkonen and Kaj Lindstrom set some top stage times.

While Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia's objective was to maintain their fourth place overall today, Kimi Raikkonen and Kaj Lindstrom still needed to push to claim 10th place and the one World Championship drivers' point that came with it. As the result of a 10-minute penalty after going off the road at the end of the opening day, Kimi and Kaj started the day in 14th place: 2m46.5s off the 10th place that was held by Henning Solberg.

On the first stage, the Finns got back more than 40 seconds, followed by another 35 seconds on the following stage. This was enough to place them 11th. "We're pushing hard again today," said Kimi. "Everything went well although I had a slightly strange feeling on the second stage. The team is going to change the front anti-roll bar at service."

Meanwhile, Sebastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia held onto their overall position. "After losing a minute on the first day, we can't fight with Dani Sordo and Petter Solberg anymore," explained Sebastien. "That's a pity, but it also allows us to concentrate on understanding our Citroen C4 WRC in asphalt specification. We're trying out some settings that maybe we wouldn't have risked if we were in the middle of a tight battle and that's very good for our learning process."

On the final loop of stages, Kimi continued reducing the gap to the top 10 by taking more than 45 seconds from Henning Solberg in Muhovo 2. But the Finn made a small mistake on the final stage and had to settle for 11th overall in the end. "At least we tried!" he said at the finish. "Our feeling with the car was very good throughout the rally and that's extremely positive for what is only our first asphalt event. We keep on learning and I have the feeling that we're making progress now."

Sebastien Ogier eventually finished fourth behind three more Citroen C4 WRCs, having set fastest time on the final stage. The Frenchman was able to draw an extremely positive conclusion from the first asphalt rally of the season. "It's a great result for the championship," he said. "We've shown as of now that we're able to fight for a podium on asphalt, which is extremely promising for the rest of the season. Now we're going to concentrate on the forthcoming Rally Finland, which we'll be contesting for the first time with the Citroen Total World Rally Team."

Team manager Benoit Nogier concluded: "It's been another good day for the Citroen Junior Team and yet another rally without any technical problems for us. That's a great tribute to the whole team, which has once more prepared the two Citroen C4 WRCs perfectly. The team's performance on Friday night, which allowed Kimi to restart the rally on Saturday, was equally remarkable. Citroen has again shown that asphalt is a very strong surface for the brand, while our two drivers have displayed some fascinating potential for the future."

Guess the rally radio guys got used to his way, Kimi still doesn't speak to them after every stage Rolling Eyes (doesn't he know the rally media people are less evil than F1? mrgreen)

Btw, Ferrari, you may need to head to Norway next year, Sweden may not be in next year's calendar.

Joooo....I am!
And if I will go to a rally, it must be the winter rally in Sweden/Norway or rally FInland. Well, Scandinavia is just the perfect place for great rally atmosphere, all others are quite boring against them. Sweden was da best in that season and Finland will be the next, so after that my line of favorites is complete. mrgreen
Finland has this Scandinavian summer flair, while Sweden/Norway rocks with Scandinavian winter flair. Oh, Rally Sweden is based round Karlstad, my maps are saying, that around three hours away from Stockholm, that's not that much. How many kilometres are you away from Karlstad, Ferrari?
Maybe we could form a bunch of KR fans to go there next year...
