RedBull pulling the same shit as always...

Red Bull excluded from qualifying for excessive front wing flex

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2014/11/16673.html

The only difference is that they're not getting away with it this time, which is unusual, but very welcome!

I find it most interesting that Red Bull accepted cheating penalty WITHOUT formal protest.

Sadly, that says volumes.

Yes, indeed, I agree gentlemen... sadly 4 years too late.

Just as some of us pointed out years ago.

They claim they were 'singled out'...despite four other having their front wings tested.

Someone has to call out Horner's bullshit publicly, perhaps Brundle during the race broadcast.

Congratulations to Lewis. Did he deserve it? Absolutely. Hard luck to Rosberg, but could have so easily gone the way.

Nico agrees Lewis has been the better driver over the course of the season.

Ironically enough, the idiotic double-points (that I hope will be scrapped asap) made it a lot more representative than it was before. It's very close now to what I calculated it should have been accounting for technical difficulties and Nico's on-track "maneuvers".

Poetic justice, in a way, even though I don't like that it had to come through these stupid double-points.

Hamilton - 11 wins
Rosberg - 5 wins
Ricciardo - 3 wins

Hamilton also wins the 2014 Fastest Lap Award for the first time!

i count the mercedes clutch problems for rosberg into the overall calculation as well as the mercedes retard switch to a 3 stop strategy at hungary and team principle hamilton not letting him through

with normal levels of luck rosberg would be a much closer contender, and i also recommend much more aggression for a full spread of the season, hamilton beat him up in all the on track battles this season because rosberg listens to the team and hamilton listens to the voice inside his head

BTW is anything known about double-points being scrapped yet? I haven't heard anything definite. Probably one of the worst rules ever with respect to the history of the sport.

I believe that I read that Bernie wants it scrapped.

And as we know, what Berniw wants, Bernie gets. :pirat:
