"...it is 'not possible' to say how long it would take for Scumacher to fully recover. She said he faced a 'difficult' and 'long' rehabilitation..."

I hope Mick makes a full recovery, but I can't believe it has almost been a year since his accident.

I think a full recovery is beyond him unfortunately. I just hope he can speak and communicate at the very least.

I gotta admit, it's frustrating for me. I really care for Schumi, and I understand that the public is not somehow entitled to any information that is private/confidential.

But all these non-statements over a full year are tough, because you just have nothing to go by. I don't know anything of substance about where he's at right now. Todt's statements were the most hopeful, but also completely devoid of real information.

This "not knowing anything" about something you care about - it's not a good place to be, so I'm trying to not think about it at all. I hope he finds his way!

Perhaps it is because no one really knows anything and so there is nothing to say.

It must be hard on his family if they have to keep trotting out to say "No change!" and then face a barrage of follow up questions, like, "How are you all coping?" "What brand of nappies are you using for Michael?"

His wife sees him every day. Todt has visited him. Of course they know how he's doing now.
