I don't hate Vettel so much anymore. It probably peaked at multi 21 and since he got demolished by Ricciardo last year it's certainly settled down a little. A lot of the dislike was/is directed at Red Bull too.

So while he's not my first choice for the win, I'm happy Mercedes have a challenge and who could complain about that?

But Vettel still hasn't proved that is better than Kimi (results say this, but Kimi was very unlucky)

What a great race.
I was afraid we were going to have a one horse race with the mercs again judging the way Toto Wolfe was bragging after the OZ GP that they will be quicker in Malaysia.
As much as I dislike Vettel it was good to see his "1 finger salute" after a years absence.
Well done Ferrari.

More so to those who were bleating about how unfair it was that Mercedes were so dominant and that
the others should be allowed to catch up....

Well done Ferrari for getting your act together!!

I'm not much of a Vettel fan but so happy Ferrari is taking it to the Mercs. Surprising pace from McLaren too. Looks like it's shaping up to be a decent season.

We'll see if Merc are back to their best in China. If not, lets hope Williams can get to where Ferrari is.

Looks like the return of the dreaded tyre problems at Mercedes. Amazing that despite all of their year-long experience in that regard, it's an issue again. Barely making 15 laps on one set of tyres...

Kimi is 28 PTS behind Vettel after just two races, and the first voices declaring him No. 2 at Ferrari are already coming out of the woodwork.

Here's hoping for a trouble-free weekend for him, and that the problems even out over the course of the season relative to Vettel. We've all seen with Hamilton how tough it was just to close the gap after getting 25 PTS down the first race of the season.

I wonder if Arivabenne believes in No. 1 & No. 2, and if he will let them race.

For Hamilton to close the 25 points gap between him and Rosberg was realistic, doable. Sadly for Kimi not so.

Hmm, and you base this conclusion on 2007?
