I thought Lewis was great today...  both good moves and bad moves.. and more important owning up to his mistakes humbly...  never giving up, giving it everything..

But...  why are his pitstops still slower and why when he makes a mistake
is it penalised and when Nico does it isn't...

Poor old Kimbo cant catch a break...

If all that we've seen today equals "great" to you, then I guess that's an opinion Wink

Lewis at least admitted it:

"I was all over the place, it was a really bad performance, mistakes all over the place," says Lewis Hamilton.

As an out and out racer, yes.. as an honest guy, yes..

Given some of our other world champions in recent years, yes, Lewis is great..

++

Can Horner stop calling his driver Ricceeeeeardo, and can Vettel stop swearing on live TV... someone should
tell him it lacks class..

The German announcers tried to figure it out, too, but couldn't either. It's an uphill battle for him on that front.

And of course, it's only 21 PTS between him and Rosberg instead of 38 PTS thanks to Monaco, and at times during the race it looked like Nico could get into the summer break as the championship leader....

It did, but why on earth did Nico bottle out of putting the quicker tyre on...

What a race! That really was one of my all time favourite races. You know those races where you think to yourself "What the f*ck is going on???", when you can't process everything that's happening. That was today, and I'm so happy about it.

This race could have gone so many ways. Imagine Hamilton hadn't hit Ricciardo. Would a damage free Red Bull got passed Rosberg sooner or more easily? Hamilton's day could have been SO much worse. He'd ought to thank Red Bull for that. Or perhaps his own team for putting Rosberg on the medium tyres?

Kimi was very unlucky, imagine Vettel had the issues instead.

Thank you Force India for the safety car!

Maldonado...a new low for him.

First podium for Kvyat! Verstappen 4th! Alonso 5th! What?!

I've missed unpredictability for SO long and I'm so happy to have it back, even if it's just for one race. Great way to head into the summer break, although it makes you want more, so bitter sweet then hey?

Asked what part of the afternoon he regretted, Hamilton replied: "The race!"

It's pretty interesting that over the last 2 races, Mercedes has been challenged by three different teams. Sure, they still seem to have the best car, but...

After a difficult start with his new team, Kvyat has scored 40 PTS over the last 5 races (vs. 26 PTS for Ricciardo)...
