Nico with a huge choke, but the championship was inevitable wasn't it? Congratulations Lewis!

Interesting how the two guys who still had a mathematical chance before this race are flanking him on the podium now (not exactly happy, of course).

On a good day, F1 still smokes all the other series, that much should be clear!

Only 12 cars made it to the finish line...highlighting that this was no easy race even in very good cars.

Vettel once again maximized his points while Kimi...well he looked fast at times, but that's just not enough. Vettel now has scored more than twice as many points and is still second in the championship.

Great to see: Button overtook Alonso in the standings...has now scored points 4 times vs. Alonso's 2 times. Although to be fair the McL is a piece of junk and so it doesn't really mean that much.

He was definitely down and he may have taken the cap thrown at him as disrespectful. Wouldn't have wanted to be Rosberg at that point in time.

This race really ticked everything in my great race checklist:

- A proper fight for the lead
- Changing track conditions
- Good overtaking
- A few incidents/crashes
- High attrition
- Drivers finishing higher than usual

A Rossi point would have topped it off but he really was miles off the pace.

He reminded me of a 3-year-old I know who does exactly the same when he's in a sour mood. Some things never change whether you're 3 or 30.

I just thought it was hilarious how the (British?) press tried to turn this into "Cap-Gate"!

I think a championship fight of Vettel vs. Hamilton in cars that are on a comparable level could be one of the best duels ever in F1! Two alpha males that are fast as hell and make virtually no mistakes. I hope Ferrari can pull it off! Should be legendary.

Seeing how competitive the Red Bulls were in Austin, if Renault can improve their engine, we could really see a 3 team fight for the championship next season. Unfortunately I see Williams further from the front next season.

Renault? You mean Honda, right?
