FORMULA 1 - CHINESE GRAND PRIX 2016

Another Gp with weird start times. Alonso is back lets see what he can do. 2015 qualy is back thank heavens. Lewis has a 5 spot penalty for a gearbox change. Vandoorne is on standby which is a shame but he will be taking a Mclaren seat next year so its good for him.

Three punctures today? Didn't catch the session, but very strange.

Interesting - Mercedes thinks (and last race they were 100% correct) that on this track, the gap vs. Ferrari for single lap performance is only 3 tenths (instead of 6 at the last race).

With the tyre advantage Ferrari should have, this should be a legitimately close race...

AND... another gift for Rosberg. Usually this comment is reserved for Sundays, but now he doesn't even need to fight his teammate in qualy anymore.

Glad I recorded this qualy. With the way Mercedes is playing it (going half a second faster on their final attempts), I guess watching the last 3 minutes now suffices.

what a race, kind of upset with Vettel. Why would he get mad at Kvyat. He seen the gap he went for it simple

Vettel proving why I am not a fan of his. Surely he'll change his tune when he sees the replays. Then again he didn't in Turkey 6 years ago...

Great race by the way. Awesome first half of the race, action everywhere and still 22 finishers!

Great race! Great drives from Kimi, Kvyat, Ricciardo, Nico R., and even Vettel (after taking into consideration his heavy mistake of punting out his team mate in first turn).

And shame on Seb, Kimi could have been close to Nico! Not winning though I think, Nico was untouchable Today.

AND... another (at least 4) gifts for Rosberg.

It's amazing how much the Ferrari screw up every weekend. Cars not finishing, running into each other, bad qualys etc.

Lewis has to fight all the time in a damaged car, but never with his teammate. Or anywhere near the front.

36 PTS advantage for Nico after only 3 races, and he had to fight nobody today... again.

Mr. Ferrari boss, it wasn't my fault! He turned into me! He was a crazy man!

No one talks on the radio for that long during the race lol. If it were at Red Bull Marko and Horner would have taken his side too Laughing

Ferrari (Arrivabene) has now claimed after every single race that they could've won it.

They also thought pole was in reach on Saturday (that was a first this season).

At least they had both cars finishing the race for the first time.

The expectation right now is that they can solve their turbo problems sometime in May.

I have to admit I watch Lewis on snapchat. He looks completely unfazed with his current misfortune, not to be confused with disinterested. Just completely content with how his life is at the moment. Have to admire that.

Red Bull getting all cocky... I guess with a Mercedes engine they would be dominating F1 right now. It's a bit of a shame that best case, they might steal a few points from Ferrari.

He hasn't really made any mistakes himself (unless you want to count 2 weak starts that other drivers are also having trouble with). Won the two qualys he could compete in.

I think it would be different if he kept screwing things up himself and his pace wasn't competitive on track.

Didn't Kimi 'The Worst Driver Ever' Räikkönen drive circles around Lewis in China?
And Lewis was in best car on grid at that. Hmm...
