And Lewis was in best car on grid at that. Hmm...

Haha, good one! Damage on Lewis car supposedly accounted for about 1 sec per lap (just like in Bahrain), in addition to being put on a subpar strategy with his tyres getting damaged in an earlier crash. He couldn't even attack Massa anymore.

Championship already decided? If the past is any indication, the answer is "for sure!"

They say history has a tendency to repeat itself. If that's true, Nico Rosberg is nailed on to win the 2016 Formula One world championship. The Mercedes driver's win in China was his third consecutive win of the season, and on the nine previous occasions a driver has started a year like that he has gone on to win the championship.

So Ferrari thought they were this close?

"In qualifying we could target pole position," Arrivabene is quoted as saying by Motorsport.com. "With our calculation we believed we were one tenth behind Mercedes, which is a margin that with a final push from the drivers could even be reduced to zero. But it didn't happen."

Merc talked about 3 tenths, but either way, it's encouraging. Seems Ferrari tends to be a little overoptimistic while Mercedes is realistic if not lowballing their advantage a bit. The biggest problem right now seems to be Nico running away with the title before anyone else even manages to have a clean race.

So Lewis was heavily compromised? I see, why he can't stop drinking during races?

"It felt better than sex!", Lewis Hamilton after his first GP win.
"Maybe he has never tried sex?", Kimi Räikkönen's comment on that.
