US based F1 coverage terminated. ESPN is amateurish.

NO more David Hobbs, NO more Steve Matchett, NO more Leigh Diffey

=

Might as well listen to generic Air Traffic Controllers at Heathrow.

So far, the new owners of F1 are massively, massively, blowing it for US audiences.

Sounds like new owners went outside to nearest alley and hired the cheapest person they could find, no matter the experience in F1.

Ohhhhh C'mon!!!
I believe the Liberty Media folks know the American audience is focused on:
1. MLB Spring Training Grapefruit League which ends March 27th.
2. NCAA March Madness Championship which ends April 2nd.
3. Masters Green Jacket winner on April 8th.
4. NASCAR...err...I don't know
5. NBA crown the Toronto Raptors as Champions sometime in June Smile
6. NHL crown the Toronto Maple Leafs as Stanley Cup Champions sometime in June Smile
So, expect US based F1 coverage to be up and running and in full swing by the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal Smile

'... advertising the wrong times for practice and missing potential key moments of the race by going to commercial during pit stops, interrupting the commentary at mid-sentence, people are going to be understandably pissed off and this was a horrible first impression.'

I like your thinking. Neither will happen unfortunately, but I like it none the same. Laughing

Can't make this stuff up.

That bad.

Liberty Media is proving clueless.
