Unbelievable, that such a brilliant pilot is stuck at today's McL.

Kimi is not leaving Ferrari and Ricciardo would properly get there before Fernando... not sure the Scuderia would take him back anyway.

His talents would be wasted and degraded in today's spec Indy cars, though he could win the Indy 500 as long as a back marker did not take him out.

100% LeMans prototype with Toyota might be the best option, indeed.

In WEC his skill level would stay high and he could even come back to F1 in 2020... if a great F1 team suddenly came to their senses.
