Sorry that we missed the 1st Bahrain race but we have some time before the first Melbourne Practice session (cut-off is 5 mins before 1st Practice starts).

To join:

1) Go to http://www.OzTips.com

2) Click the 'REGISTER' button on the homepage and set-up a Login (if you don't already have one with OzTips).

3) Once you have successfully registered a Username and Password, click the 'JOIN A COMP' button.

4) Enter the Comp # and Comp Password details above.

5) That's it! Full instructions on how to Tip can be found on the website by clicking on the 'Help' link in the top header.

Here are the Rules:

RULES
Tip Cut-off Time:
Tip cut-off time for your Comp is 5-minutes before the first Qualifying Practice race of the Week.

Regular Season
Pole Position Correct Tip: 2 points Incorrect Tip: 0 points
Each Week, Tipsters will be asked to select the Driver they think will win Pole Position.

Race Winner Correct Tip: 2 points Incorrect Tip: 0 points
Each Week, Tipsters will be asked to select the Driver they think will be the Race Winner.

Top 2 Teams:
Each Week, Tipsters will be asked to nominate the Team(s) that will finish 1st and 2nd, in that order (this may be the same Team). Points will be awarded to any Tipsters that correctly select the Team that finishes 1st and/or the Team that finishes 2nd.
1 point awarded for each correct 1st & 2nd tip.

Top 8 Drivers Correct Tip:1point Incorrect Tip: 0 points
Each Week, Tipsters will be asked to nominate the Drivers that finish in the Top 8 Positions (ie. Drivers who receive one or more Driver's Championship Points), in any order. Points will be awarded to any Tipsters that correctly select a Driver that finishes 1st to 8th.

All Correct Bonus: 3 Bonus Points to be added if a Tipster correctly Tips all selections in a Week. (Note: Bonus Points only apply to Regular Season races)

Hide Ladder After Week:
Don't Hide the Tipping Comp's Ladder after the selected Week.

Non-Submission: 0 Points Calculation of Points for Tipsters who fail to submit their Tips by the Week's Tip cut-off time. eg. "Lowest" and an Adjustment of "-1", will give the Tipster the lowest Score in your Comp for the missed Tipping Week, minus 1 Point.
Adjustment: 0

Late Start: Average Allocation of Points for Tipsters who start later than Week 1. eg. "Average" and an Adjustment of "2", will give the new Tipster the average of your Comp Tipster's current total Scores (rounded down to the nearest point), plus 2 Points.
Adjustment: 0

Special Instructions: If points are tied at Season's end, then, Most Wins tipped, then most Poles tipped to determine winner.

Prize Information: The 2010 Golden NA F1 Steering Wheel Avatar awarded together with bragging rights! Avatar to be chosen from members' submissions by most popular vote.

View Closed Tips: NO - Tipsters can NOT see what everyone has Tipped after a Week has Closed.

View Names: No Tipsters' Firstname/Lastname appears as a hover over their Tipping Name

YES - Just a tipping competition, bit of fun - there's NO money involved.

Each player gets points for correct tips for the remaining 18 races.

The member with the highest points at the end wins !!

I also joined the general "public" Oz Tips F1 Fans tipping comp as well at race 2 (missed out on points for race 1, Bahrain) and I am currently in position 183 out of 709!

Just goes to show if one picks up average points to date it is not so bad!

As can be seen arizal-adl and yours truly are neck & neck in P1; phailur3 has also gained a place on the Podium while Purist had a BIG fall from equal P1 to P4 - What happened Purist - a bad Pit-Stop perhaps?

- What can I say? ...... the podium / points standings are getting more defined.
